Taking place at NMPAT Music and Performing Arts Centres in Brackley, Daventry, Duston, Kettering, Northampton, Oundle and Wellingborough, they are designed for school-age children who enjoy music and the performing arts, whether they are complete beginners or already developing their talents.

Visitors will be able to explore creative group sessions, meet specialist tutors, chat to current students and discover the wide range of opportunities available through NMPAT, including instrumental and vocal ensembles and groups, drama and performance opportunities.

The open day gives families the chance to experience first-hand how NMPAT helps young people build confidence, develop new skills, make friends and express themselves through music and the performing arts.

New for this term, NMPAT Youth Theatre will open its doors for a special open session on Saturday 7th November from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Young people aged 9 to 18 who love drama, acting and performance are invited to attend, with no previous experience required.

For families unable to attend on Saturday, Towcester NMPAT After-School Club will host a dedicated open evening on Wednesday 11th November.

About NMPAT

Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust (NMPAT) exists to make high-quality music and performing arts education for the many, not the few. They work across early years, primary, secondary and special schools, alongside families and communities, to deliver opportunities at scale: instrumental and vocal tuition, whole-class programmes, ensembles, music production, music therapy, and clear progression routes that help young people grow in skill, confidence and belonging. They are proud to be one of the premier music services and music hubs in the country, and ambitious to expand their reach and diversify into new communities across Northamptonshire and Rutland.
