Award-winning Kettering firm celebrates 30 years in labels business
Kettering-based AM Labels Limited is celebrating its 30th anniversary, marking three decades providing labelling solutions.
Managing director Tony Mariani and staff marked the milestone with a visit to their Garrard Way HQ from mayor of Kettering Lauren Glanfield, who unveiled a commemorative plaque.
Tony thanked staff for their continued hard work and dedication with a presentation which highlighted the company’s milestones and achievements, followed by a celebratory lunch.

He said: “Reaching this milestone is a fantastic achievement for everyone at AM Labels and I am truly proud of how the business has grown over the past 30 years.
“AM Labels’ success is the result of the hard work and dedication of our incredible team, the loyalty of our customers and the strong partnerships we have developed over the years.
“We never stand still, and that mindset will continue to shape our future, as we invest in new technologies, embrace more sustainable ways of working and continue delivering the high levels of service that our customers expect from us.”
AM Labels began as a one-man operation, with Tony producing custom labels from his home using just two printers. As demand grew, the company expanded its offering to provide customers with the opportunity to invest in their own labelling equipment, helping them improve and streamline their operations.

Today, AM Labels operates from a 14,000 sq ft premises which incorporates a label manufacturing and production facility.
The premises also includes the company’s technical experience centre, where customers can see a variety of label printers and automation equipment in action, through live demonstrations, before making a purchase.
With a comprehensive range of products from many of the industry’s leading manufacturers, AM Labels supports businesses across the UK with label printing and automated solutions.
The company provides label applicators, print and apply systems, colour label printers, label finishers, RFID technology, handheld scanning, barcoding technology and more to a diverse range of business sectors.

In response to increasing demand for sustainable labelling solutions, AM Labels introduced new labelling materials in 2022, including sugar cane paper labels and labels composed of 30 per cent sun-dried grass fibre (hay) and 70 per cent sustainably sourced pulp. It received the Epson ColorWorks Sustainability Award 2026.
