Northamptonshire Health Charity, who fundraise in support of hospitals and NHS services across the county, is inviting the public to host an online or offline gaming or streaming fundraiser this November.

Hosted by Lucky Chuck’s in partnership with Boards of Kettering, the event will take place on Sunday, November 29, as part of Power Up for Patients weekend.

Attendees can enjoy unlimited access to a huge range of arcade and interactive games throughout their session, alongside a selection of board games provided by Boards of Kettering.

Whether you’re chasing a high score, rediscovering childhood favourites or challenging friends and family around a table-top game, there will be something for all ages to enjoy.

Sam, from Lucky Chuck’s said: “We’re delighted to be hosting Power Up for Patients and using what we do best to support such an important local cause.

“Gaming has a unique way of bringing people together, and we’re looking forward to welcoming families, friends and gaming fans for a fantastic day of fun while raising money to help local NHS patients, their families and the staff who care for them.”

Two sessions will be available on the day from midday to 4pm and from 5pm to 9pm.

Tickets are priced at £17.50 for adults and £12.50 for children, with all proceeds supporting Northamptonshire Health Charity.

Funds raised will help the charity support patients, families and staff across local NHS services, funding projects and improvements that help make healthcare experiences better for those who need them most.

Polly, from Boards of Kettering, said: “Board games are all about connecting people, creating memories and having fun together, which makes this partnership a perfect fit. We’re excited to be part of Power Up for Patients and help create an event where people can find their new favourite games, meet fellow enthusiasts and support healthcare services that touch the lives of so many people across Northamptonshire.”

The event offers a chance for gaming communities, families and friends to come together, meet fellow enthusiasts and support local healthcare, all while enjoying six hours of unlimited gaming.

Alfie Dutfeild-Wright, head of fundraising at Northamptonshire Health Charity, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Lucky Chuck’s and Boards of Kettering for organising and hosting this event as part of our inaugural Power Up for Patients fundraiser. They’ve created a fun day out that will help make a difference for local NHS patients, families and staff.”
