Northampton Saints v Harlequins: Full team news for the PREM Rugby Cup clash

Jordan Els will make his Saints debut against his former club in the PREM Rugby Cup on Saturday.

Els wears the No.1 shirt against Harlequins, who he made 54 appearances for before leaving during the summer.

Saints have seen two loosehead props added to the injury list this week, with Oliver Scola and Lefty Zigiaridis being forced off during the 96-42 cup defeat at Saracens last Saturday.

That opens the door for Els, who moved to Saints on a short-term deal ahead of the start of the new season.

England Under-20s prop Aiden Reid will provide the loosehead cover from the bench, and should he enter the action he will also be making his Saints debut.

Saints have brought back some senior figures for this weekend's trip to the Twickenham Stoop, with the likes of Tom Pearson and captain Fraser Dingwall starting.

Scola, Zigiriadis, Anthony Belleau, Amena Caqusau, Trevor Davison, Malik Faissal, Luke Green, Henry Lumley, Aidan Pugh, Ollie Sleightholme and Edoardo Todaro are unavailable for selection this week.

As for Harlequins, they hand a start to outside centre James Lang, who rejoined the club earlier this week.

Influential flanker Will Evans captains Quins for the first time this weekend.

Saturday’s game kicks off at 4.45pm and will be shown live on TNT Sports.
