Stone wary of Boldmere threat as Doughboys aim to maintain unbeaten start
Jake Stone is expecting his Wellingborough Town team's unbeaten start be put under serious pressure when Boldmere St Michaels visit the Dog & Duck on Tuesday night (ko 7.45pm).
The Doughboys have won 13 out of 14 matches in the Pitching-In Northern Premier League Midlands Division campaign to date, and sit a very healthy 10 points clear at the top of the table.

Tuesday sees them play host to fourth-placed Boldmere, who are 15 points behind Borough, but Stone is an admirer of the Birmingham outfit and believes they will provide a stern test.
"Boldmere have started brilliantly," Stone told Doughboys TV. "They won again on Saturday, and it will be a tough game against a team that knows how to move the ball well.
"So it will be a little different to the game on Saturday which was a little bit more direct, and you have to deal with first and second balls, and I expect Boldmere to play a bit more.
"But we will prepare, we will look at it, and we will look at their last few games and hopefully see what their strengths and weaknesses are and got from there.
"You have to keep moving forward and making sure you put yourself in the best spot to try and win these games, but if you can't win them you don't lose them."
The Doughboys go into the game off the back of a thrilling 5-4 home win over Coleshill Town on Saturday, and although delighted to win that one, Stone admitted there are lessons for his team to learn.
"I won't divulge too much, but I wasn't very happy with the lads at the start of the game, let alone conceding after one minute or whatever it was," said the Doughboys boss.
"So to galvanise after that is really good.
"I think we have to learn from parts of that which have been discussed before and after the game, because as much as wins are good and I should be happy with those, we have to learn along the way when mistakes are made.
"It is important we don't concede four goals again, as regardless of whether you are at home or away that isn't good enough.
"But it was another three points and that is the most important thing."
