Diamonds to host higher level opposition in FA Cup second qualifying round
AFC Rushden & Diamonds have been handed a home tie in the second qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Elliot Sandy's side will host Step 3 side Peterborough Sports at Hayden Road on Saturday, September 19.

Diamonds were 3-0 winners at county rivals Desborough Town in the first qualifying round on Saturday, thanks to two goals from Jordan O'Brien and one from Bruno Andrade.
Sports, who were easy 4-0 winners over Ipswich Wanderers in their Cup clash at the weekend, are currently mid-table in the Pitching-In Southern League Premier Central.
Relegated from National League North last season, Sports have endured a mixed start to the campaign, but they are unbeaten in their past four games.
Their dangerman will be former Kettering Town and Bedford Town striker Leon Lobjoit, who has scored five goals in his past three games.
Meanwhile, the winner of Tuesday night's replay between Kettering Town and Wellingborough Town will also be at home in the second qualifying round.
The Poppies or Doughboys will host Quorn, who play at Step 3 in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
Quorn knocked Kettering out of the FA Cup last season, winning their second qualifying round tie 2-1.
Kettering and Wellingborough played out a 2-2 draw in their original first qualifying round clash at the Dog & Duck on Saturday.
They will play the tie to a conclusion at Latimer Park on Tuesday (ko 7.45pm).
