UPDATE: Lines re-open at Kettering and Wellingborough after woman killed by train

Train lines at Kettering and Wellingborough have re-opened after a woman died when she was struck by a train.

The woman was struck at Bedford at 1pm, with lines between Kettering and Bedford closed whilst Network Rail and emergency services attended the incident.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police confirmed that the woman’s death was not being treated as suspicious.

Disruption is expected to continue until 6pm while trains get back in place.
