Kettering choir to host Remembrance concert to create 'a moment when music becomes our collective voice of gratitude'

The Decibelles Ladies Choir will host a concert of remembrance on Saturday, November 8 at St Peter & St Paul ‘parish’ Church in Kettering.

The concert, which starts at 6pm will feature performances by local acts including Raunds Temperance Brass Band, The Sound of Sirens - Services Choir and St Peter's School choir, as well as from the Decibelles Ladies Choir.

Musical director and organiser, Joshua Daniel said: “I look forward once again to this annual evening of remembrance — a moment when music becomes our collective voice of gratitude. On this night, ensembles and performers from many paths join together, their sounds intertwining in a shared act of honouring those who gave everything in service.

"Each year, this gathering reminds us of the deep resonance of remembrance — how melody and silence alike can carry our reflection, sorrow, and hope.

"As we remember those who served — whether in recent years or a century ago — we do so through an ever-changing tapestry of music from choirs, soloists, and instrumentalists, each note a tribute to courage, sacrifice, and the enduring human spirit.”
