Coronavirus case CONFIRMED in Desborough care home

A member of staff at Heather Holmes care home in Rushton Road, Desborough has tested positive for Coronavirus.
A spokesman for the Heather Holmes said: "We can confirm that a member of staff has tested positive for COVID-19.

Hide Ad"The health and wellbeing of the people we support, and our members of staff, is our absolute priority.
"We are working closely with Public Health England and following their instruction."
There are six confirmed cases in Northamptonshire. It is not known exactly when the care staff member was diagnosed and if they are one of the six, or a seventh case.
This is the first case in the county where the location has been confirmed.

Hide AdHeather Holmes care home has 11 bedrooms and one self-contained flat and provides residential care for people with learning disabilities and those with physical disabilities and mobility issues.
Coronavirus cases in England are being published daily, followed by local authority breakdowns.
Public Health England said it would not be commenting further.
Northamptonshire County Council have been contacted for comment.
