Tom Meighan releases raw, funny tell-all memoir prior to Kettering appearance
Tom Meighan, the original voice of Kasabian, is to publish Meighan-isms, a raw, funny and deeply personal illustrated book telling his life story in his own words.

The book is available exclusively in two signed collector's editions, each pairing the 192-page hardback with new music from Tom.
It arrives ahead of Tom's previously announced tour, Tom Meighan – The Original Voice of Kasabian, which is set to visit the Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering next year.

Meighan-isms takes readers from Tom's working-class childhood in Leicester – a world fuelled by music, film and restless energy – through the rise of Kasabian, from early rehearsals and local gigs to festival headline slots, arena tours and a run of era-defining anthems. Alongside the rock-and-roll stories sit the things that matter most to him: family, friendship, fatherhood and the pull of home.
Tom does not shy away from the harder chapters. He writes candidly about addiction, the consequences of his actions, his recovery, and the support of his wife and family as he rebuilt his life – a story of taking responsibility and moving forward rather than looking away. The book closes on his solo return, including The Reckoning and Roadrunner, and an artist rediscovering the joy of making music and performing live.
Packed with intimate archive photographs and previously unseen images, Meighan-isms is part memoir, part scrapbook: emotional, irreverent, outspoken and full of heart.
Tom said: “I have been hidden away for a while and now I am back, with a book of stories and a spoken word tour – and in both fans can get up close and personal with me. The opportunity means the world to me.”

Building on the story told in Meighan-isms, his new tour will see Tom share the highs, the lows and the extraordinary years at the heart of Kasabian, alongside an intimate acoustic performance with his guitarist – a rare chance to hear the stories behind the songs.
