Another cannabis factory was found in Northamptonshire on Friday.

A police spokesman said they found the grow house - with a sophisticated system and about 150 plants - at about midday in Foskitt Court North, Northampton.

PCSO Craig Blacha said: "First day back after annual leave on the missing persons unit with PCSO colleague showing me the ropes.

"House to house enquires [sic] completed and cannabis factory secured by myself and colleagues thanks to @NptonPolice great result."

No arrests have been made and police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

It's the latest cannabis factory find in the county after a series of raids over the past year.

Just last month criminals abused the Covid-19 lockdown quiet to create a cannabis factory inside Northampton's Aura cocktail bar.

Several raids have taken place across the north of the county in the past 12 months, including an industrial-scale cannabis farm in Corby and a factory over five rooms in Higham Ferrers.

The biggest of them all was found in Kettering when police raided the town's former Gala Bingo hall in June.

They found more than 2,000 plants - with the potential to yield drugs worth £2.8m over a year.
