Described as a space where wine, art and music come together, Noir has been designed with the customer at its heart. With a modern, contemporary and unapologetically sexy atmosphere, the new venue aims to create somewhere Northamptonshire can come to drink, listen, relax, and spend time together.

With their own vinyl residence, a local DJ collective, Noir is bringing music to the very heart of the bar. The music will be curated on a weekly rotation, creating a constantly evolving soundtrack for the space.

Guests can expect a carefully selected range of wines alongside cocktails and beers, with the offering extending beyond alcohol to include wellbeing mocktails.

Noir will also offer a wide programme of events throughout the weeks, including wine tastings hosted by the in-house expert team, as well as selected Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons dedicated to music and community. Events will include an Open Mic and the venue’s Jazz Café, creating opportunities for local talent, musicians, and music lovers to come together.

Noir will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30am to 11:00pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11:30am to 1:30am. Selected Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons will open for special events and music programming.

The concept has been created by two wine professionals with 20 years of combined experience in the wine industry, both holding WSET qualifications. Rather than creating a traditional wine bar, their vision for Noir is centred around giving customers a space that feels different.

“Wine, art, and music are the three most important things in the world to us, and we are so excited to be able to bring a space that celebrates that back to the streets of Northampton.”

Noir is designed to be more than simply somewhere to have a drink. Whether stopping by for a glass of wine, settling in with a coffee, discovering a new cocktail, listening to records or enjoying an evening with friends, the space aims to offer something for a broad range of customers and occasions.

The opening comes at an exciting time for Northamptonshire, with independent businesses continuing to shape the town's evolving food, drink and leisure scene.

Noir will officially open on George Row, Northampton, on Saturday 12th September 2026.
