Eastfield Academy celebrates success at Northamptonshire Business Awards
Eastfield Academy is celebrating another major achievement after being named winner of the Northamptonshire Sustainability Award at the Northamptonshire Business Awards 2026.
The Northampton primary school was recognised for its work around sustainability and for finding smarter, more efficient ways of working across the school.
Eastfield had previously been selected as a finalist in the Northamptonshire Sustainability Award category, sponsored by See Limited. The school then went on to take home the award at the ceremony at Sywell Aerodrome.
The achievement is the latest in a growing list of successes for Eastfield. Last year, the school was named Primary School of the Year at the Northamptonshire Education Awards along with winning the Environmental and Sustainability Award, making this latest win another proud moment for the whole school community.
From education to sustainability, Eastfield continues to achieve success after success, always looking for new ideas, better ways of working and opportunities to make a positive difference for pupils and the wider community.
The school’s sustainability work has focused on practical changes across everyday school life, including reducing waste, making better use of technology, improving processes and looking for more sustainable and efficient ways of working.
Eastfield Academy is part of David Ross Education Trust, and the award is a fantastic recognition of the commitment and creativity of the staff and pupils who continue to push the school forward.
The school would like to thank See Limited, sponsors of the Northamptonshire Sustainability Award, as well as Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce and everyone involved in the Northamptonshire Business Awards for recognising and celebrating organisations making a difference across the county.
With two major Northamptonshire awards in consecutive years, Eastfield is certainly giving itself plenty to celebrate and there are already lots of ideas about what could come next.
