Wellingborough Twinkle to welcome the Christmas season with lights switch on

Wellingborough town centre will be adorned in Christmas lights next month as people are invited to an evening of live entertainment, family fun, market stalls and more.

The Wellingborough Twinkle, organised by Wellingborough Town Council, starts at 1pm on Saturday, November 21, and promises a fantastic programme of entertainment for residents and visitors of all ages, including live music, street entertainment, market stalls and Santa’s Grotto, all to officially welcome the Christmas season in the town.

A spokesperson for Wellingborough Town Council said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone to Wellingborough Twinkle this November. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy some fantastic entertainment and celebrate the start of the festive season.

“With live performances, market stalls, family activities and our Christmas Light Switch-On, there will be plenty to see and do. We’d encourage residents to come along, support our local traders and join us in making it a brilliant festive occasion for Wellingborough.
