Charity horse racing evening heads to Stirrup Cup

A charity horse racing evening at the Stirrup Cup on Monday November 9 will feature a jumps season preview and a book launch written by local horse racing journalist Paul Jones.

The panel will feature legendary bookie Jerry White, leading tipster Andrew Mount and Paul Jones.

Tickets are £15 and include a copy of the book by Paul Jones, 100 Punting Feats And Bad Beats, launched two weeks ago and priced at £14.95.

The panelists will preview the jumps season and also the Cheltenham November meeting on Friday-Sunday November 13-15.

Author Paul Jones is sharing the profits from the book with childrens' medical research charity, Action for A-T.

Jones explained: "The book features 100 independent stories from 100 people, including a handful of celebrities with their stories of individual gambles, around half won and half lost, and with plenty of humour along the way!"

Tickets are available from The Stirrup Cup or by calling 01536 722841.
