A sizzling success at the UK Sausage Awards 2026

Foodmaker celebrates award-winning customers and proudly sponsors the Best Frozen Sausage category at this year's UK Sausage Awards.

Corby-based seasoning manufacturer Foodmaker has been creating bespoke seasoning blends for butchers, bakers and food manufacturers for 43 years, helping them produce exceptional products. These are the same skilled makers whose craftsmanship is celebrated at the UK Sausage Awards, where Foodmaker was proud to sponsor the Best Frozen Sausage category this year.

Speaking ahead of the event, Tony Curran, Foodmaker's Technical Sales Manager, shared his excitement:

"It's not every day you get to hand out an award for sausages! Sausages are a big part of what we do at Foodmaker, so it's fantastic to be supporting an event that celebrates the artistry and innovation across the industry."

He added: "There's so much more to a great sausage than meets the eye, and it's brilliant to see the hard work behind these products getting the recognition it deserves."

Korker Sausages, a third-generation family business in Kent, was awarded Best Frozen Sausage for its Cranberry & Stilton Sausages for the second consecutive year. Tony presented the award to India Hoad, Head of Sales & Marketing. An incredible achievement!

It was an especially exciting evening for Foodmaker, with two of its customers celebrating award wins.

British Premium Sausage Company enjoyed a double victory with its Tennessee BBQ Sausage, winning Best Speciality Sausage as well as being crowned the overall title of UK Supreme Sausage Champion.

Porky Whites celebrated its second consecutive win in the Best Cocktail Sausage category, this year with its Surrey Cocktail Sausage, following its 2025 success with the Thai Style Cocktail Sausage.
