Saints boss Dowson backs 'absolute athlete' Pearson to make more England appearances
Phil Dowson has hailed 'absolute athlete' Tom Pearson and says Saints are 'excited about where he can get to'.
Pearson has been in fantastic form this season, regularly putting his name in the conversation for the player of the match award week after week.

He put in another huge shift last Saturday, capping it with a lovely score late on against Sale Sharks.
And Saints boss Dowson is backing the 26-year-old to add to his tally of one England cap, which came against Wales in a Rugby World Cup warm-up match in 2023.
"He still could and potentially should have a strong international career," Dowson said.
"The England back row has always been competitive and had high-quality people. You look at the Currys (Tom and Ben), (Sam) Underhill - all these guys who are very, very good.
"But TP has all of those things and he's actually worked incredibly hard at his set-piece game - all those elements that go unseen that go alongside his 20-metre breaks, his blockbusting tackles, the turnovers.
"I've been really pleased with TP. He's pushed really hard this season and been one of the form players in our group over the past month or so.
"Physically he's an absolute athlete. He's fast, he's strong and he gets it, but he's now getting into really good positions and working in combination with Callum Chick, who put him away for that try.
"He's playing very naturally at the moment so we're excited about where he can get to."
