'Magical' Christmas event coming to Wellingborough 'one-of-a-kind' shopping destination
Nene Court Shopping Village in Wellingborough is inviting you to join them for a magical family-friendly Christmas event.
The shopping destination off The Embankment in Wellingborough has a range of independent shops, cosy cafes and unique businesses.
And they are coming together to host ‘Christmas At Nene Court’ from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, November 13.
Organisers say it will be ‘a magical family-friendly evening celebrating Christmas and supporting our wonderful independent businesses’.
The festive fun will include:
- Meet Santa
- Meet Buddy the Elf
- Feed the ponies
- Hook a Duck and Saucer Ride from Aldridge Amusements
- Delicious burgers and bakes from The Garden Deli
- Freshly made waffles and mini Dutch pancakes from The Melting Shack
- Live DJ and festive music
- Christmas shopping throughout the independent shops
A spokesman for the Nene Court Shopping Village Team said: “Nene Court is home to some fantastic small businesses, including our very own honey shop, beautiful home interiors and Christmas shops, and many other unique independent retailers.
"We’re really passionate about encouraging people to shop local and support small businesses, especially in the run-up to Christmas.
"We would love to bring more awareness to Nene Court and showcase what our little shopping village has to offer.”
Nene Court is home to numerous independent businesses including My Happy Place Cafe, The Melting Shack, Volta Books, The Pumphouse Cafe, The Garden Deli, 51 Wines and restaurant Ember.
