Bridgwater praises Poppies as Quorn are hit for six on FA Trophy rout
Joint boss David Bridgwater was full of praise for his team after Kettering Town dispatched fellow Step 3 side Quorn 6-2 to progress in the FA Trophy.
The Poppies set up a second round trip to National League South strugglers Braintree as they eased past Quorn, with six different scorers hitting the target.

Ismael Fatadjo, Lawson D'ath, William Van Lier, Blaine Rowe, Eddie Panter and Shaun Jeffers all netted to send the home supporters in the 525-strong crowd happy.
And Bridgwater was delighted to see his team build on last Tuesday's 4-0 league win over Leiston.
"I thought we were fantastic in the first half, we took the game to Quorn and were on the front foot in difficult conditions," Bridgwater told Kettering Town's YouTube channel.
"It was tough for all the players out there, but we had lots of the game, controlled possession and we got forward and made opportunities.
"They had a spell just after half-time when they came out but we could have put it to bed at 4-1, but we missed the penalty although it was a good save from the keeper.
"They then got the goal to make it 3-2 and they put us under some pressure, but again the lads defended well when they needed to.
"That's six goals today, four goals on Tuesday, so 10 goals scored in two games so we are starting to find our scoring boots, so that is really pleasing.
"We still have the second best defensive record in the league, but now our goals are starting to creep up as well and we are getting lots of different scorers, so we are looking good.
"Quorn are a good side, they have been picking up in the league, so to get a 6-2 win against them is really good.
"It was disappointing we conceded two, but I think the supporters at the game would agree we played a lot of good, attacking football, and we could have had more than six."
