The Met Office has issued the more serious warning, which covers all of Northamptonshire.
It is in place from 6pm today (Thursday, September 26) until 6am tomorrow (Friday, September 27).

Hide AdNorthamptonshire has already been battered by torrential rain this week, which has led to flooding across the county, with devastating effects to residents’ home and lives.


Wellingborough’s Splash Park is under water as is the car park, home to the Embankment Cafe – a mobile trailer that has been towed from the floods.
A flood warning issued by the Environment Agency has been in place for 48-hours across much of the Nene Valley, including the stretch from Wellingborough to Thrapston.
Local forecaster, NN Weather, says ‘30 – 40mm of rain, perhaps as much as 60mm’, is expected.
