The town council announced the tennis courts in Swanspool Gardens would be closed until September 17 for ‘essential refurbishment’, and now has announced the whole gardens will undergo a ‘makeover’, being closed to the public for two weeks.

Currently, works are ongoing to refit the pavilion to be brought back into regular community use after the pavilion and adjoining gardens were transferred to Wellingborough Town Council from North Northants Council, the latter of whom inherited the asset from the now-defunct Northants County Council.
