Plans submitted for care home near Kettering

Proposals to build a care home near Kettering have been formally submitted.

The plans, which we first reported on in August, would see the creation of a 66-bed home on land east of Barton Road, Barton Seagrave.

LNT Care Developments is the firm behind the proposals, which it says would transform what is currently an undeveloped site and create between 50 and 60 jobs.

It says there is a growing need for specialist accommodation for older people across the area, including dementia care.
