Families urged to snap up Kids Fest tickets as summer savings arrive at Northamptonshire's Chester House Estate

Families are being encouraged to book now for Kids Fest 2026 at Northamptonshire’s Chester House Estate – with the biggest event yet also offering its best value ever.

Taking place on August 8 and 9, Kids Fest promises two action-packed days filled with giant inflatables, zorbing, assault courses, climbing walls, bungee trampolines, football darts, tractor rides, alpacas, live entertainment as well as meet-and-greets with superheroes and princesses.

With a national temporary reduction in VAT for days out this summer, through the GB Summer Savings initiative, organisers say the prices for KidsFest provide ‘outstanding value for money’.

One child's ticket provides unlimited access to the attractions included in their age category for the entire day, allowing children to bounce, climb, race, play and explore as many times as they like without families needing to worry about extra costs.

Designed for children aged 18 months to 12-years-old, the event separates activities into dedicated age groups, ensuring youngsters can enjoy attractions suited to their age.

Visitors can expect hours of non-stop fun as children tackle the huge inflatable zone, challenge friends on the climbing wall and football darts, bounce skywards on the bungee trampolines, roll through the zorbing zone, enjoy tractor rides, meet friendly alpacas and enjoy a packed programme of live stage entertainment throughout the day.

Favourite superheroes and princesses will also be making special appearances for magical meet-and-greet opportunities.

Cllr Martin Griffiths, leader of North Northants Council which owns and manages the Chester House Estate near Irchester, said: “With families increasingly looking for affordable ways to entertain children during the summer holidays, Kids Fest offers a rare opportunity to enjoy a full day of unlimited activities at one inclusive price.”

The team on site expect the discounted tickets to prove extremely popular and are encouraging families to book now before availability runs out.

A ticket for children aged six to 12-years-old costs £21.88 plus a 60p booking fee.

For children aged 18-months to five-years-old, tickets cost £8.75 plus the 60p booking fee.

More than 5,000 visitors attended the event which saw the site transported back to Roman times with archaeology, living history, family entertainment and hands-on activities available during the two-day event.
