"Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the person involved."

The accident took place at a site just off route 4, near the Irthlingborough Road junction. Route 4 and nearby route 9 opened to traffic on Monday.

It is the second death on the site after a worker died there in 2017 when he was struck by an object. He was later named by HSE as 30-year-old Christinel Osolos.
