Worker dies at Wellingborough building site
A man has died at the Stanton Cross building site in Wellingborough this afternoon (Tuesday).
Emergency services were called to the development off Irthlingborough Road at about 1.20pm after an industrial accident, although no further details about what happened were available at this stage.
A police spokesman said the victim was a Northampton man who was in his 40s.
The HSE and Stanton Cross have been contacted for comment.
It is the second death on the site after a worker died there in 2017.
Two major routes on the site, route 4 and route 9, opened yesterday.
