Teenagers arrested after car stolen from Wellingborough residential street
Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was stolen from Winstanley Road in Wellingborough last month.
Police say on June 23 between midnight and 4.30pm, a black Ford Fiesta was stolen from the residential street close to Wellingborough town centre.
Two males have been arrested in connection with the incident and since bailed, but officers are still asking witnesses to come forward.
A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: “Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the theft, seen the vehicle being driven in suspicious circumstances or who has any information which could assist the investigation.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
Since the theft in June, the vehicle has been recovered and two males, aged 17 and 18, have been arrested in connection with the theft and have since been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
Anyone who can help police with their investigation are asked to quote incident number 26000367425 when providing any information.
