Wright, 39, also admitted taking the vehicle, before driving it dangerously, while disqualified and with no insurance in Rockingham on the day it was stolen.

Corr admitted the charges at his first magistrates’ court hearing and was given a nine month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months and was ordered to complete 10 rehabilitation activity days and 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85.

Wright is also due to be sentenced for conveying cannabis into HMP Five Wells in July 2024, which he admitted. He will appear before Northampton Crown Court on March 26 to be sentenced for all the offences at the same time. He is currently in prison custody.

Class-A drug addict Wright has more than 100 convictions under his belt and was most recently in prison for stealing a car from Autoglass in Corby. He also has convictions for burglary and for driving while disqualified.

Corr has been before the courts on multiple previous occasions including for driving while disqualified on five occasions in quick succession and for a burglary committed in Oundle. He was one of the top targets for police during Operation Pacify, which aimed to rid Corby of its generational off-road bike issues.
