"You can find the team you know and love in @GAMERushdenLake upstairs in House of Fraser, Rushden Lakes Shopping Centre."

The Northants Telegraph contacted Game for a comment but a spokesman said they're 'unable to provide any information on store closures.'

The closure of the Wellingborough branch of Game comes after Argos bosses confirmed last month that they wouldn't be re-opening their store in the shopping centre, which boasts more than 40 shops and several outlets selling food.

Other big names to leave the shopping centre in recent years include Tesco, HMV and Dorothy Perkins.
