Crazy golf and eating out is back on the agenda as more outlets re-open at Rushden Lakes this weekend.

Following the recent update from the UK government, restaurants and some leisure businesses will be able to re-open at Rushden Lakes from Saturday (July 4).

Bill’s and Wildwood will be re-opening on Saturday (July 4) and have put in place a number of measures to ensure the safety of both staff and their guests.

Booking is essential and guests are encouraged to view menus on their smartphones.

Paradise Island Adventure Golf will also be opening it’s doors to those who have missed crazy golf and booking is strongly advised.

In addition, Camper Cones is back for it’s third year at Rushden Lakes and will be located on the boardwalk serving ice creams, milkshakes and drinks.

Many non-essential and essential stores including Holland and Barrett, New Look, Wren Kitchens, Primark, Joules and Hobby Craft are already open to the public, and have introduced measures to provide social distancing and enhanced hygiene standards.

Skew Bridge Lake walk and the Nene Wetland Visitor Centre have also started welcoming visitors back.

The centre management team has taken every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitors to Rushden Lakes.

This includes the introduction of additional cleaning and hygiene measures on site, asking visitors to comply with social distancing rules at all times, and the introduction of queue-

management where necessary at some stores.

Donna French, Rushden Lakes centre manager, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming visitors back to Rushden Lakes to enjoy our restaurant and leisure offering.

"We would like to reassure them that safety is our top priority.

"We continue to monitor the situation and Government’s public health guidance closely.”

More stores and restaurants are expected to open after July 4 including Friday’s (previously TGI Friday’s), Lago Lounge, Hopmaster: The Reserve and Cotswold Outdoors. Cineworld and Starbucks later this month.
