Northamptonshire Federation of WIs - AGM
The theme for the AGM was "Women in Farming"
We were honoured that Mrs Anne Burnett, Vice Lord Lieutenant of Northamptonshire and Roger Butler, High Sheriff of Northamptonshire joined us for our AGM.
NCFWI has come on in leaps and bounds in the last year liaising with West Northants Council on our resolution to stop "Violence against Women". We also had fun yarnbombing the road from Northampton Railway Station to the Saints Rugby ground for the Women's World Rugby Cup and in Northampton Town Centre for "Northampton in Bloom" where we were given a Gold Award.
The theme for the AGM was "Women in Farming". We heard Fay Johnson of Eyebrook who is Wild Bird Food producer and Louise Penn, an Agronomist & Farming Consultant - now we know what that is!
Members from around the county enjoyed a shopping experience before the vibrant AGM, along with refreshments and catching up with friends from near and far.
