ITFixio celebrates first year at Northamptonshire Business Awards
Northamptonshire-based IT company marks its first anniversary by sponsoring the Diversity in the Workplace Award

Northamptonshire-based ITFixio celebrated its first year in business by joining hundreds of Northamptonshire businesses at this year’s Northamptonshire Business Awards, where the company sponsored the Diversity in the Workplace Award.
The awards, organised by the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, took place at Sywell Aerodrome on Friday 11 September, bringing businesses and organisations from across the county together to celebrate their achievements.

For ITFixio founder and CEO Nik Gazis, the evening was particularly special as it came just days after the company celebrated its first anniversary.
“It was a really special evening for us,” said Nik. “We’ve only just celebrated our first year, so to be there alongside so many fantastic Northamptonshire businesses and to have the opportunity to sponsor an award was something we were genuinely proud of.
“Business is about so much more than just business. It’s about the people you meet, the relationships you build and the support you give each other. We’ve been very fortunate to meet some fantastic people during our first year, and many have become friends as well as business contacts.”
A personal connection to diversity
For Nik, sponsoring the Diversity in the Workplace Award also carried a deeper personal meaning.
Having moved from Greece to the UK almost 30 years ago, Nik says the UK has become home and the place where he chose to build his life, his family and, ultimately, his business.
“Diversity is something that has always been close to my heart,” said Nik. “I came to the UK from Greece many years ago, and over time this country became my home. It’s where I built my life, raised my family and decided to start and grow my business.
“I know personally how important it can be to feel welcomed, included and given the opportunity to contribute, regardless of where you come from or what your background is.
“That’s why sponsoring this particular award meant a lot to me. Northamptonshire is home to people from so many different backgrounds, and I think that diversity makes our communities and our businesses stronger.”
Celebrating diversity in the workplace
ITFixio sponsored the Diversity in the Workplace Award, which recognised organisations demonstrating a genuine commitment to creating inclusive workplaces.
The three finalists were hireful, G4S HMP Five Wells and Paradigm Shift Consulting Limited, with Paradigm Shift Consulting ultimately taking home the award.
Nik congratulated all three finalists on reaching the final and praised the work being carried out by businesses across Northamptonshire to create more inclusive workplaces.
“Reaching the final of the Northamptonshire Business Awards is an achievement in itself, and all three finalists should be incredibly proud,” said Nik.
“Paradigm Shift Consulting were very deserving winners. The commitment they have shown to diversity and inclusion is something that deserves to be recognised, and it was fantastic to see their work celebrated on such a special evening.
“A huge congratulations to Dave and the whole Paradigm team. It was lovely to see a business doing such meaningful work in this area receive the recognition it deserves.”
Dave Rushton Founder of Paradigm Shift Consulting said “We’re absolutely delighted to win this award! A huge thank you to ITFixio for recognising something that’s at the heart of everything we do at Paradigm Shift Consulting. In all honesty our diverse workforce has developed naturally and organically through our approach to recruitment. We bring to our team consultants based on their experience, knowledge, expertise and, above all, their commitment to quality. We believe that having people with different perspectives, backgrounds and experiences makes us stronger as a business and better able to support our clients. It’s fantastic to have that commitment recognised, and we’re incredibly proud of the culture and team we’ve built together.”
A year of growth and relationships
Since launching in September 2025, ITFixio has continued to grow its presence across Northamptonshire, supporting local businesses with managed IT services, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, cloud, backup and other business technology services.
The company has also become increasingly involved in the local business community through its relationship with the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, local business events, community initiatives and its growing links with education and future talent.
For Nik, that involvement has been an important part of the company's first year.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received during our first year,” he said.
“The Chamber and the wider Northamptonshire business community have been very welcoming, and we’re proud to be part of it. There are so many great businesses and people in the county, and it’s important to us that as we grow, we continue to support and celebrate the community around us.”
Nik attended the awards with his wife Dr Vasiliki Fragkou and son Dennis Gazis, as well as Caz Daverson and Chris Daverson from 5D Bespoke People Solutions.
He also thanked the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce team for organising the evening and for its continued support of ITFixio.
“The Chamber team did an incredible job. It was a brilliant evening and a great opportunity to celebrate the people and businesses that make Northamptonshire such a fantastic place to do business.
“We’re looking forward to what the next year brings.”
