Final countdown for new David Lloyd Kettering Club, with 22 December confirmed open date
Excitement is building in Kettering as David Lloyd Clubs confirms the official opening date of Tuesday 22 December for its new state-of-the-art health and wellness facility in the town.

David Lloyd Kettering has been under construction since December 2025, located within the Hanwood Park housing development in the east of the town. The Club has already sparked huge interest from the local community, with many residents choosing to join early and secure their membership. As the opening date draws near, there is still time to become a member.

Recruitment is also underway at David Lloyd Kettering, with the new Club creating over 100 jobs for local people in a range of roles – from fitness and spa, to hospitality and business admin.
Rob Wallace, General Manager at David Lloyd Kettering, said: “We have been thrilled by the response from the local community to our new Kettering Club, with people signing up for membership months in advance. Demand for our introductory offers has exceeded expectations, which shows how local people are really looking forward to the new Club opening.
“As membership places are limited, anyone who's been considering joining should get in touch or book a tour with our team at the Marketing Suite. Founding members will also be invited to an exclusive preview of the Club ahead of our official opening. We can’t wait to open our doors on 22 December and to become part of the local community here in Hanwood Park and wider Kettering.”
Once doors open on 22 December, David Lloyd Kettering will feature a comprehensive range of premium health, fitness and wellness facilities including a cutting-edge 100+ station gym, heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and racquet sports facilities including premium cushioned acrylic tennis courts and padel facilities.
Boutique exercise studios will offer David Lloyd Clubs’ Signature Classes Collection, including BLAZE, SPIRIT yoga and Pilates, 1GN1TE, CYCLONE and REBELS; a member favourite where children aged 8+ can exercise together with their family. There will also be a dedicated Reformer Pilates Studio.
David Lloyd Kettering will also offer a luxurious Spa Retreat with a swim in-out hydrotherapy pool, heated relaxation beds, tranquil Spa Garden, and a range of experience rooms including a Himalayan salt sauna, crystal steam and cold plunge pool.
In addition to the health, fitness, and wellness amenities, David Lloyd Kettering has an outdoor terrace and spacious Clubroom with family zone, indoor soft play for children, and an enclosed Business Lounge for an alternative ‘work from home’ environment.
Early members will soon be able to book classes and coaching, including the junior Swim and Tennis Stars programmes. For more information about becoming a member of the Club, please visit: https://www.davidlloyd.co.uk/clubs/kettering
