CPRL looks to continue winning momentum at Croft
CPRL is set for rounds 22, 23 and 24 of the British Touring Car Championship this weekend (5-6 September), as drivers Adam Morgan and Dan Rowbottom head to Croft in Yorkshire.

The past two meetings have delivered impressive results for the Northamptonshire-based team, which is in just its first year of operation. At Knockhill, it secured victory in the qualifying race, a race win and four further podium finishes, before adding another qualifying race success, another race win and a podium at Donington Park last time out.
Those results underline the efforts of the team's engineers and mechanics, who have worked tirelessly to extract performance from the Mercedes A35 saloon touring cars, under the guidance of senior engineers David Kelly, Paul Ridgeway and Tom Hunt.
Both Adam and Dan have enjoyed success at the 2.127-mile Croft Circuit in the past, with one win, three additional podium finishes and five further top-five results between them in BTCC competition. The track provides a challenging mixture of high-speed sections and tight, technical corners, demanding full commitment from the drivers on every lap.
There will be a single 50-minute practice session on Saturday, followed by qualifying at 14:05 and the qualifying race at 15:05, which will be streamed live on the ITV Sport YouTube channel. Sunday’s schedule features three 15-lap contests, which are due to begin at 12:10, 14:30, and 17:15, with live coverage on ITV4 and ITVX in the United Kingdom.

"Croft is the type of track that really rewards confidence in the car. The progress we've made over the last two events has been hugely encouraging and everyone in the team deserves credit for the hard work that's gone into getting us to this point.
“We've shown we can fight at the front, score strong results and challenge for wins, so the aim this weekend is to keep that momentum going. The margins are always tight in the BTCC, but if we can put everything together in qualifying and execute well across the races, there's no reason why we can't be in the mix again."

“I'm really looking forward to getting back out at Croft. It's a circuit that places a big emphasis on racecraft and consistency, and it's one that I enjoy driving. The Mercedes A35 saloon has been working very well recently and the pace we've shown at Knockhill and Donington gives us plenty of confidence going into the weekend.
“A huge amount of effort continues to go in from everyone behind the scenes and it's always nice when we can repay that hard work with strong results on track. We'll keep our heads down, work hard and aim to keep scoring points and fighting for trophies.”
