Wednesday season 2: when is part 2 out on Netflix? Release schedule explained
Wednesday is back on Netflix but fans have to wait for the conclusion to season two 📺🕷
- Wednesday finally returned to Netflix this week.
- The first episodes since 2022 have now arrived.
- But the full season is not out yet and more is coming.
After a nearly three year wait, Wednesday finally returned to Netflix. However, fans who have binged the new episodes will face a wait for the rest of the season.
Jenna Ortega has returned to lead the cast of the hit streaming show once again. Plenty of new faces including a Doctor Who favourite and TV icon have joined the cast.
If you are trying to remember what happened in the first season, I’ve rounded-up the key plot points you need to know. The show also includes a huge surprise and it is not a big dance scene.
But when will the rest of Wednesday be out on Netflix? Here’s all you need to know:
When does Wednesday season 2 part 2 come out?
Unlike the first season of the hit YA series, Wednesday is being split into multiple parts (or volumes) this time around on Netflix. The first four episodes came out on August 6, but that is only half the series.
After the drama of Ms Thornhill and Crackstone’s attack on Nevermore Academy - and the Hyde reveal - the school was closed for the semester. It has now reopened and plenty has changed.
Pugsley is now on campus, as is Morticia, and Enid now has a wolf pack, having unlocked her powers last season. Wednesday’s stalker continues to hang around and her psychic abilities are acting up.
The remaining half of Wednesday season two will be released by Netflix in just under a month’s time. Part two is due to arrive on September 4 - which is, of course, a Wednesday.
The four remaining episodes will be available at 8am British time on that date. A third season has already been commissioned by Netflix, so we can pack our bags for Nevermore Academy at least once more.
