Dizzee Rascal and Tom Jones at Bedford Park concerts

Dizzee Rascall is returning to the region to headline the opening night of this year's Bedford Park Concerts series.

Dizzee has thrived within the UK garage scene since the early 2000s, spanning genres from hip-hop and grime to dance and bassline.

Having collaborated with the likes of Calvin Harris, Arctic Monkeys and Florence & the Machine, Dizzee has evolved from his grime and garage roots into the mainstream scene, playing major festivals numerous times along the way.

His hits include I Luv U and Fix Up Look Sharp, which went straight into the UK top 20 single charts and his number one hit Dance Wiv Me featuring Calvin Harris.

Support is by Kurupt FM, Wiley, Jaguar Skills and Ms Dynamite. All play Bedford Park on Friday, August 5. Tickets cost £35. Doors open at 5pm.
