Wellingborough boy brings home bronze medal from Scottish Championships

Sammy Lok, 15, from Wellingborough, the reigning under-17 Midlands indoor combined events champion, took to Glasgow this weekend to compete in the Scottish National indoor combined events championships.

The event took place at the Emirates arena in Glasgow and Sammy took part in preparation for the English combined events in March.

The heptathlon for the under-17 boys was over two days and comprised of seven events.

There was strong competition across the board and Sammy finished in bronze medal position, giving him a great start to the season.
