Saints star Smith named Gallagher PREM player of the month
Fin Smith has become the second Saints player to claim a Gallagher PREM player of the month prize this season after he scooped the April award.
Edoardo Todaro was PREM player of the month back in October, and now Smith has added his own name to the list of winners.

The England star claimed 44 per cent of the April vote, ahead of Leicester Tigers wing Gabriel Hamer-Webb, Saracens wing Noah Caluori and Bristol Bears back Kalaveti Ravouvou.
Smith amassed 31 points across the two rounds, guiding Saints to back-to-back victories and strengthening their position at the top of the table.
In Round 13, he scored the winning try with just five seconds remaining to secure a dramatic bonus point win against play-off rivals Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park.
Smith followed that with another standout display in Round 14 as Saints edged closest challengers Bath in a thrilling top-of-the-table clash at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.
The 24-year-old crossed for the opening try to set the tone for one of the matches of the season, and he capped a fine all-round performance by landing the decisive late penalty in a 41-38 home victory.
