England fly-half Smith named Saints' player of the month for April
Fin Smith has been named Saints’ cinch player of the month for April.
The fly-half was at the heart of some of his club’s most dramatic moments last month, producing the unforgettable late try at Sandy Park to defeat Exeter Chiefs 35-28.

He also struck the match-winning penalty against Bath in a 41-38 Gallagher PREM triumph at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.
He added to his try tally in that game against the reigning PREM champions, having previously notched 16 points against them in the Investec Champions Cup quarter-final loss at The Rec earlier in the month.
Smith was also impressive in defence in April, making 39 successful tackles, including an epic 19 against Exeter.
Smith also made 116 metres from 42 carries across the month, too.
The voting went right down to the wire as Smith just edged out fellow nominees Josh Kemeny, Ed Prowse and Tommy Freeman.
