Kettering Town have seen another game postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Latimer Park.

The Poppies had been due to host Northamptonshire neighbours Brackley Town this evening (Tuesday) but the recent heavy rain ensured the pitch was still unplayable following an afternoon inspection.

It's the third time the clash between Kettering and Brackley has been postponed and another date will now have to be found in the remaining two months of the season.

Paul Cox's men still have 14 Vanarama National League North matches to play following a string of postponements.

They are due to be back in action in a huge game at the weekend when they head to second-from-bottom Blyth Spartans who occupy the second relegation spot.

Kettering are currently seven points clear of Blyth with four games in hand as they look to secure their status for next season.
