Boss Mettam insists Steelmen shouldn't 'fear anybody' ahead of Loughborough test
Boss Leon Mettam accepts that Corby Town have endured a 'terrible start' to the season - but is backing his players to turn things round, starting with Saturday's trip to Loughborough Students.
Mettam was encouraged by his team's superb fightback in Monday's clash with AFC Rushden & Diamonds, with the Steelmen's 10-men recovering from 3-1 down to draw 3-3.

And he insists if his team matches the standards set in that match from now on, then they shouldn't 'fear anybody'.
The stalemate called a halt to a run of five straight defeats in all competitions, and secured a first point of the season in the Pitching-In Northern Premier League Midlands Division.

Mettam, who signed a new contract to remain as Corby Town boss last week, is in the process of trying to strengthen his squad with the funds provided by the club's new ownership.
But he also believes the players he currently has at his disposal are capable of a lot more than they have been producing so far in a competitive division, particularly if they play as they did against Diamonds.
Saturday sees the Steelmen take on a Loughborough side that has claimed just four points from their first five games.
The clash offers Corby a chance to get their first league win of the season, and Mettam says he and his players just have to concentrate on their own performance.

"Nothing is a given in this league," the Corby boss told @chuckmiddleton.
"We saw it last season, where all the teams were beating each other, and it's been similar this season, apart from Wellingborough who have had a good start.
"But it's all about what we do, it's not about who we are playing next, it's about what we do.
"We are four weeks into the season and we have had a terrible start, but we knew we were going to be a slow and tough start.

"We didn't expect it be quite as bad as it has been.
"But I have said to the players that if they perform like they did on Monday week in, week out, and build on that, then we don't fear anybody.
"We have to get the belief into the lads that that is their minimum now.
"We have to see if we can go above and beyond it, but we can never fall below it."
