Three-day road closure on Rushden residential street
A street in Rushden has been closed for three days by Anglian Water.
The closure in Greenacre Drive, near its junction with the High Street/Bedford Road, came into effect this morning (July 27), and will last until 11.59pm on Wednesday, July 29.
A diversion route is in place along Meadow Sweet Road and Bedford Road while Anglian Water works on a new water connection in the area.
A Rushden Town Council spokesman said: “Anglian Water have requested a road closure on the above road to safely carry out new water connection works.
“It is expected that the works will take three days and are due to commence on July 27.”
