
A huge tree has been brought down by Storm Ciara, shutting East Carlton Park for the day.
Managers at the popular Corby attraction warned local people not to attend the park today.
The area is popular with families and dog walkers but has hundreds of high trees. One of them came down across the entrance this morning meaning that it is not safe for visitors.

An amber weather warning is in place until 9pm which means that the Met Office have alerted people that flying debris could lead to Injuries or danger to life, there could be damage to buildings, some roads could be closed and there may be power cuts or interruptions to mobile coverage.
Northamptonshire County Council’s severe weather desk is open to deal with damage caused by gusts of up to 75mph and extra resources have been deployed to deal with incidents. Northants Police said a tree had blocked two lanes of the A45 at Riverside in Northampton.
