The trust has, however, received messages of support from Rothwell Town Council and financial assistance from Sport England.
And this week they received confirmation that Persimmon Homes, who are currently building the Woodland Valley housing development in Rothwell, intend to donate £1,000 to support the centre in 2021.
Pathfinder Schools chief executive Ann Davey said: “We are so grateful of the support that has been offered by Persimmon Homes and welcome the opportunity to work with national and local businesses to support the long-term sustainability of the sports centre, which plays such a crucial role in the wellbeing of our community."
