Pair 'excited' and 'pleased' to join board of Northamptonshire-based housing association
David Lewis and Carl Dickinson have been appointed as new board members of Greatwell Homes, following a ‘rigorous recruitment process.’
The board of Greatwell Homes oversees the strategic direction of the organisation.
Both new members will formally start in their new roles on September 25, 2025.
Jo Savage, Chief Executive at Greatwell Homes, said: “We’re thrilled with the appointments of Carl and David, who will really enhance the experience and expertise of our board in the critical areas of treasury management and strategic asset management. I’m confident their contributions will support the delivery of our exciting ambitions in our recently launched corporate plan, Live Greatwell+.

“As well as their undoubted experience, what really stood out was their passion for the communities we serve and shared values.
“To attract professionals of their calibre is testament to the strong reputation we are creating here at Greatwell Homes and I look forward to working with them over the coming years.”
Mr Lewis has three decades of experience working in social housing in senior leadership and executive property asset management roles, and is currently the executive director of property and investment for L&Q – one of the country’s largest housing associations.
He is currently a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and an associate of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and bosses at Greatwell Homes believe he brings ‘a significant amount of board-level experience’, having been a non-executive director for several housing associations.
He said: "I’m delighted to be joining the board of Greatwell Homes. I look forward to working with customers, communities and partner organisations to build on the fantastic achievements to date.”
Mr Dickinson has held a number of board positions across various sectors including education, charities and social housing, and brings ‘significant non-executive experience’ by chairing several committees and previously operating as a board vice chair.
He added: “I look forward to working with my fellow Board members and management team to deliver on the organisation’s commitment to support great communities where people live well.
“I remain passionate in ensuring everyone has access to affordable housing in safe communities and I’m eager to help Greatwell Homes achieve these goals.”
