KGH restrict visiting times amid coronavirus pandemic

KGH has announced a restriction in visiting with immediate effect.

The hospital wrote in a post on Facebook: "Information for visitors: with immediate effect, due to the raised awareness of viral respiratory illnesses we are currently only allowing visitors between 6pm and 8pm."

The news comes as many hospitals and care homes restrict visiting rules amid a coronavirus pandemic.

KGH added: "Please do not visit if you are unwell.

"Only one to two visitors per patient at a time.

"Do not bring children under five to visit."

There have been six confirmed cases of coronavirus in Northamptonshire so far. It is not known if any of these cases have been or are currently being treated at KGH.
