There will be golden ticket hunts, surprise live performances and exclusive ticket offers on the day, giving shoppers their first chance to experience the excitement ahead of the inaugural Roseshire Festival at the Chester House Estate over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Roseshire golden tickets will be hidden inside selected Rushden Lakes stores throughout Saturday, with anyone who discovers one of the limited-edition golden tickets winning free admission to Roseshire Festival.

Winners can redeem their prize at the Discover Northamptonshire Tourism Hub, where the celebrations continue throughout the day.

During the takeover, there will be surprise appearances from Roseshire Festival artists, bringing live music and pop-up performances directly into Rushden Lakes and giving visitors an exclusive preview of the entertainment heading to the Chester House Estate this August.

Exclusive one-day-only ticket offers will also be available during the event, making the Rushden Lakes takeover the perfect opportunity to book before prices increase.

A Festival Made for Northamptonshire

Launching across the August Bank Holiday on August 29 and 30, Roseshire Festival is a new celebration inspired by the county’s identity as the Rose of the Shires.

The festival will have chart-topping live music, family entertainment, local food and drink, family fairground attractions and local talent.

Designed to become an annual highlight in the county’s calendar, Roseshire Festival is about bringing people together, showcasing local pride and creating a festival experience Northamptonshire can call its own.

A Roseshire Festival spokesman said: “Roseshire Festival is all about celebrating the Rose of the Shires and creating something truly special for Northamptonshire.

"Before the festival gates even open this August, we wanted to bring that excitement directly into the heart of the community.

"Whether you’re discovering a golden ticket, catching a surprise performance or taking advantage of exclusive ticket offers - the Rushden Lakes takeover is a fantastic opportunity for people to become part of the Roseshire story from the very beginning.”

The takeover is taking place at Rushden Lakes between 10am and 4pm on Saturday (July 18).
