Dr Fright's Halloween Nights returns to Northamptonshire village this October ‘bigger, crazier and more memorable’ than ever

Tickets for Dr Fright’s, a popular scare-maze and Halloween attraction go on sale today (September 1) at 10am, giving local horror fans the chance to secure their place for what is a key part of Northamptonshire’s spooky season schedule.

Returning to White’s Nurseries in Earls Barton on October 15, organisers of the beloved attraction will open the doors to the sinister ‘Fear Institute’, where talented live actors, immersive sets, intense lighting, sound and special effects will do everything in their power to make visitors scream, cower in fear, jump out of their skin, or all of the above.

Dr. Fright’s co-organiser Robert Gray said: “Every year we ask ourselves how we can make Dr. Fright’s bigger, crazier and more memorable, and Terror Trials has given us the perfect excuse to completely lose the plot! The Fear Institute ties the whole event together in a way we haven’t done before, while still allowing every maze to have its own completely different theme and personality.

“What people love about Dr. Fright’s is that it isn’t just about walking through dark corridors and having somebody jump out at you. We put a huge amount of work into the sets, actors, lighting, sound, special effects and atmosphere to make the whole night feel like an experience.

"This year we’ve got seven completely different Fear Tests, and some of the ideas we’re putting into them are genuinely unhinged.

“We can’t wait to finally let people inside.”

Past themes of Dr Frights’ Halloween Nights have been ‘Horrorworld’ and ‘Route 666’. This year the organisers have taken the event in yet another all-new direction, with seven experiences making up the ‘Terror Trials’, where visitors become the test subjects and are challenged to survive seven different fear tests, each built around a different terrifying scenario.
