Fourth attempted murder arrest after Kettering stabbing

Detectives investigating a stabbing in Kettering last month have made a fourth attempted murder arrest.
The suspect, a 25-year-old man from Kettering, was arrested after the incident in Wellington Street, close to the junction with Princes Street, at about 10.45pm on February 13.

Hide AdThe victim, a 19-year-old man, was stabbed multiple times and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
He was later discharged from hospital and will recover, police said.
Three others, who are all teenagers, have already been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
They are a 15-year-old boy from Kettering, a 16-year-old boy from Kettering and an 18-year-old man from Wellingborough.

Hide AdAll four arrested suspects have been released on bail as police continue their investigation.
Detectives were at the scene the morning after the attack with door-to-door enquiries and forensic searches taking place.
Patrols in the area were also increased to reassure the community after the street attack.
