More than 100 cannabis plants were found at a grow house in Kettering yesterday (March 15).

Officers found the set-up at a house in Montagu Street and were at the scene between 1.40pm and 3.15pm.

The plants seized were likely to be worth tens of thousands if they were sold on the streets.

A man has since been charged with producing 107 plants of cannabis, a class B drug.

He is 24-year-old Ardi Rexhmati, of Bath Road in Kettering.

Rexhmati was due to appear before magistrates in Northampton today (Tuesday).

The raid is the latest in a series of busts which have uncovered cannabis factories in the town.

Two separate raids in one weekend in February uncovered drugs worth about £250,000.
