The coronavirus pandemic may have closed Northampton Crown Court to most, but the criminal justice system continues to battle on.
Here are 14 convicts from the north of the county brought to justice over the past two months.
5. LEVAR THOMAS
Thomas from Wellingborough, drove the group to the scene before Stevie Pentelow was stabbed to death in Little Harrowden. He was cleared of murder but jailed for 13 years and three months for manslaughter and drugs offences.
6. ALAN FITZGERALD
The Rushden conman was jailed in 2014 for fraud, yet found himself up in court for the same offence after targeting elderly and vulnerable victims. He promised to carry out work and took thousands up front - but never returned. He was jailed for 40 months.
7. ASRIEL MCLEOD
McLeod, of Wellingborough, was joined Hassan Said in the Wellingborough stab attack. As the victim staggered up he threw a glass at him. He was jailed for two years.
8. JOHN GRAY
The Wellingborough sex offender had to tell police of his whereabouts as part of conditions put on him from previous court cases. But he failed to do so on a number of occasions and he was jailed for just over a year.
